I am an attorney with a master’s degree in mining, energy, and oil & gas regulation from Universidad Externado de Colombia, and managing partner of DMM Energy Consulting S.A.S., a boutique firm specializing in energy law based in Bogotá.

I have a consolidated track record in legal, contractual, and regulatory advisory services in the electric power and Oil & Gas sectors. I advise investors, developers, and contractors, both national and international, public and private, on solar projects under self-generation, distributed generation, and large-scale generation schemes, supporting them throughout the entire project lifecycle: from regulatory planning through operation.

The firm has extensive experience handling proceedings with key state entities for the structuring and implementation of energy projects, such as UPME, CREG, and SSPD.
